Overview

The 5th Annual Lung Cancer Updates is designed and implemented by physicians, nurses and pharmacists. This activity is designed for medical oncologists, hematologists, pathologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, internists, hospitalists, general and family practice physicians, nurses and pharmacists but may be of interest to physician associates and other health professionals who care for cancer patients. This course will provide clinicians with the latest advances in the diagnosis, treatment, and multidisciplinary management of lung cancer. Through expert plenary sessions, interactive case-based tumor boards, and panel discussions, participants will explore emerging strategies in early-stage and locally advanced NSCLC, targeted therapies, immunotherapy, antibody drug conjugates, and evolving approaches in small-cell lung cancer. Additional highlights include advances in molecular diagnostics, ctDNA applications, toxicity management, and innovative trial designs. This comprehensive program is designed to equip oncology professionals with practical, evidence-based knowledge to improve their skills, performance and enhance patient care across the lung cancer spectrum.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Evaluate recent advances in systemic therapy for NSCLC and SCLC, including targeted therapies, immunotherapies, and antibody drug conjugates.
  2. Interpret the role of ctDNA, next generation sequencing, and other emerging diagnostics in guiding lung cancer management.
  3. Apply current evidence and guideline based recommendations for integrating systemic therapy with surgery and radiation in early stage and oligometastatic disease.
  4. Recognize and manage common toxicities related to immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and novel agents.
