Overview

Hematology and ASH Abstract Review is planned and implemented by an interprofessional team of physicians, nurses, and pharmacists. This one-day course is designed for hematologists, oncologists, nurses, and pharmacists involved in the care of patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders and may also be of interest to other internal medicine subspecialists. The program will feature lectures, case discussions, expert panels, and interactive question-and-answer sessions highlighting key updates and best practices across malignant and benign hematology and medical oncology. The goal of this activity is to enhance participants' knowledge, clinical strategies, and performance to improve patient outcomes.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Interpret findings from recent clinical trials in Hematology and implement these data into clinical practice.
  2. Identify and recommend patients who would benefit from treatment tertiary care center for transplantation, cellular therapy, immunotherapy, and or clinical trials.
  3. To identify and manage unique toxicities in patients being treated with hematologic disorders with novel immunotherapy agents and cellular therapy.
