Spotlight On Gastroesophageal Cancer 2026

Spotlight On Gastroesophageal Cancer 2026 is planned and implemented interprofessionally by physicians and nurses. This activity is designed for gastroenterologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, and nurses, but may be of interest to physician associates and other members of the cancer care team, researchers, and patients. This 1-day live course with a live webinar component will provide education through lectures, case presentations, panel discussions, and question & answer sessions. The activity will highlight best practices across gastroesophageal cancer early detection, surgical, radiation, systemic treatment, clinical trials, basic research, and the patient experience. The goal of this activity is to enhance knowledge, skills, strategy, and patient care.

1. Apply the latest clinical and basic science advances to the diagnosis and curative or palliative management of gastroesophageal cancers across all stages of disease.
2. Apply emerging evidence to the diagnosis and multidisciplinary management of gastroesophageal cancers.
3. Evaluate surgical, radiation, systemic therapy, and clinical trial options when developing individualized treatment plans.
4. Incorporate advances in early detection, translational research, and the patient experience into gastroesophageal cancer care.
