The Steven R. Hall Trauma Symposium 2026 is planned and implemented inter-professionally by physicians and nurses. This activity is designed for physicians and nurses in Trauma Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Ortho Trauma, Neuro Trauma, Critical Care and may also be of interest to EMS providers, Respiratory Therapists, Pharmacists, etc. This live course will provide trauma education on the latest innovations and current trends in trauma care through lectures, case presentations, panel discussions, hands on skills stations, and question & answer sessions. The activity will highlight best practice for trauma care in the pre-hospital and initial resuscitation phase. The goal of this activity is enhanced knowledge, competence, skills, strategy, performance, and patient care.

1. Discuss the future and emerging trends in trauma care, specifically related to common mechanisms of injury seen in the region.
2. Analyze emerging research and implement evidencebased findings into clinical practice and local or regional hospital systems to improve team performance and increase the quality of trauma and emergency care.
3. Apply current evidence based guidelines and innovations to the assessment and management of trauma patients during prehospital care and initial resuscitation.
4. Demonstrate effective multidisciplinary strategies and procedural skills for the rapid stabilization of critically injured patients.
