For more information , please contact Marion Timothy. The Ophthalmology Spring Update is planned and implemented inter-professionally by ophthalmologists and optometrists. This activity is designed for all the specialties in Ophthalmology and Optometrists. This 5.75-hour live course will provide education through lectures and case presentations. This activity will highlight best practice across multiple aspects of the field of Ophthalmology. The goal of this activity is to enhance knowledge and patient care.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Describe emerging applications of artificial intelligence in ophthalmology and identify ways these tools can be incorporated into clinical practice to enhance diagnostic and workflow efficiency
  2. Differentiate ocular pain from dry eye disease and apply appropriate terminology and evaluation strategies when assessing patients with ocular surface discomfort.
  3. Review and apply current and emerging management approaches for glaucoma and other specialized ophthalmic conditions to improve diagnosis, treatment decisions, and patient outcomes.
