Overview
The Hip and Knee Innovation Course is planned and implemented by physicians and nurses. This activity is designed for physicians, surgeons, and nurses. It may be of interest to physical therapists, athletic trainers and providers interested in hip and knee adult reconstruction. This one-day, live course will provide education through lectures, case presentations, and Q&A. The activity will highlight best practices across hip and knee replacement and preservation. The goal is to enhance knowledge, competence, performance and enhance patient care both non-surgically and surgically.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Describe current hip and knee adult reconstruction and preservation techniques and innovations.
  2. Apply emerging reconstruction and preservation strategies to clinical decisionmaking and procedural planning.
  3. Integrate best practices in hip and knee adult reconstruction and preservation to improve patient outcomes and care quality.

Course Information:  Thursday night prior to the course, an email with directions to the online syllabus and onsite information will be sent to the email address utilized to register for the event.

Location: Eric P. Newman Education Center (EPNEC), 320 S. Euclid Ave., St. Louis, Missouri 63110.  It is recommended that you bring a jacket or sweater as meeting room temperatures are difficult to regulate to everyone's preference.
