Overview

The Women's Care Symposium is planned and implemented interprofessionally by physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and hospital administrative professionals. This activity is designed for OB-GYN physicians, maternal-fetal medicine practitioners, nurses, and nurse practitioners and may also be of interest to midwives, emergency medicine and primary care physicians, hospitalists, physician assistants, nursing and hospital administrators, emergency medical services professionals, educators, and students.

This live course provides education through expert lectures and question-and-answer sessions. The activity highlights evidence-based best practices across women's health, including breast health, menopause management, and maternal-fetal care. The goal is to enhance participants' knowledge and improve care for women across the lifespan.

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Apply current evidence and best practices to breast health assessment and care.
  2. Incorporate evidence based approaches to menopause management into clinical practice.
  3. Apply current evidence and best practices to maternal fetal care.
